A New Door

A door to open all doors. Throughout the last year I have been exploring my writing more. I have started a blog and (only recently) have been posting regularly on it. I did a storytelling workshop. And most recently, while asking around for places to help me improve my writing, I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to start writing for a magazine.

Story from the Storytelling Workshop

So I was given a prompt to add detail to a part of a story from a workshop I did. I ended up adding way too much and going off on a tangent. Here is my new story that was inspired by a scene in a spoken story.

Old Habits Die Hard

IMG_8283.JPG
So I haven’t written anything solid in a few weeks for a few reasons, main one being that I am currently in Australia and I didn’t feel it was appropriate to write about my time in Hanoi, in Australia.
But I thought this is my blog and I can do what I want – it’s more about my personal experience and not necessarily about where I am.
Leaving to come back to Australia a few weeks ago, I felt so many emotions at once.
