Intro about the project:

The Sunday Art Project is a project I have created in which one artwork will be posted each week based on a specific prompt. I will be posting a drawing, painting, poem, challenge, interview, journal entry etc here each week, inspired by the weekly prompt.

This Sunday's work: 'An Old Medium'

This week I wanted to use some brown paper once I had the idea for this entry and I decided that as a part of the Sunday Art Project, I could use an old medium and do a coffee wash on paper project instead of going out to get brown paper.

I haven't done this in years and I was so excited to go and make a coffee, resist the urge to drink the disgustingly strong beverage, and tarnish the once clean white paper with a gorgeous brown colour that dilates my pupils with just the smell.

I can't live without coffee. And no, I will not do anything until I have had it!
